Asheville, NC based photographer and model, Kristen Marie Greene, took over Honeypot Vintage’s instagram for the whole day to shoot two local models wearing outfits curated by Kristen.
Check out this short video shot by Kristen with music by Matt Williams.
Models Sarah Sayour and Lauren Rivas are both members of the Asheville Model Network, a facebook group that networks area professionals for collaborations. Sara, Lauren, and Kristen are also best friends and it shows as they work together with a natural ease and joy.
Kristen curated outfits from Honeypot’s diverse selection of quality pieces from throughout the decades. The first looks went for an 80’s valley girl rock aesthetic. These independent gals took the to the streets dazzling onlookers with each pose and sass.
Stay tuned for part 2 of this vivacious takeover with KMG Photography.
We had the good fortune to work with the renowned Asheville jewelry designer Amber Hatchett in an editorial photo shoot at the architectural lighting and vintage interiors firm of Robert Nicholas at Splurge Gallery. Amber's safari collection utilizes wood, bone, and metal findings to embrace the simple dynamics of life through adornment. Photographer Duncan Chaboudy captured each moment in easy style. The rolling doors were open on one of the first warm days of spring, and the scene was set in a wonder of treasures with our talented model Aubrey Adams.
Thank you to everyone who came out to party with us, and to everyone that has supported us over the last FIFTEEN YEARS! We love all you beautiful people!
The art and fashion this year's Carnival of Mirrors was simply mind blowing. We were lucky enough to camp with Charlie the Unicorn, the best camp and art car on the playa! One of the things I love about Burning Man is the opportunity to embrace irreverent fashion, and anything goes. I chose to live in kaftans and a unicorn horn.
I almost can't wait for it to be the dead of winter again so I can head back to Costa Rica to enjoy the waterfalls, waves and warmth with the good folks of The Philadelphia Experiment.
In the meantime I will reminisce over photos we took while playing dress up with a suitcase of colorful vintage dresses.
